Kingston is a former capitol of Canada, making it a great place to sightsee and, more importantly, live. Rain or shine, there is always something happening for the you to participate in and enjoy. It is the host of the annual Buskers, where street performers gather to demonstrate their talents, ranging from music to juggling to mimes. We are also the host of the Limestone City Blues Festival, which is a renown blues and jazz event that occurs every year. The city is perfectly sized for anyone to be able to quickly get around. It has some of the most beautiful waterfront around, being at intersection of the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario. Kingston is the host of national sporting competitions such as the C.O.R.K, the Canadian Olympic Training Regatta, which is held at the end of each August. Kingston is also known for its incredible scuba diving, as it has many shipwrecks for you to explore. Kingston is also the home for three colleges and universities; the internationally respected Queens University, St. Lawrence College, and the Royal Military College.
